Macedon - Byzantion

I want to play the macedon, but i dont want Pella but Byzantion the capital.

i know how to make it the capital, but i am not able to build the macedons best troops here.

one reason ist, that the region of byzantion is not homeland available for the macedons, i was reading and searching all the forums and modding description and already tried some modding, but i cant find the clue

You would not only have to change the ability to build a homeland there (in the campaign script) but change the AOR so that you can train units there (in the EDB) once you can build the highest level of MIC. Because of the complexity of the EB AOR system, this would be very difficult if you didn't know what you were doing.

whats AOR and EBD?

AOR - area of recruitment. The provinces a certain type of unit can be recruited in.
EDB - export descr building. The file which dictates recruitment. I'd be extremely careful about messing with this.
