Here's the thing I am a new convert to the whole XL mod and I am experiencing something I have never experienced before In any TW game, I am playing as the english its all going swimmingly and then You have been betrayed pops up In Northumbria, Normandy, and aquitane The Irish and the French are not just bribing one or 2 armies but the whole damn lot and all of a sudden I am fighting on all sides with the AI bribing my armie Left right And center over the next ten years I am reduced to scotland and Wessex, I have managed to bribe the army in Mercia and push the irish into a vice between My scottish Forces and my mercian forces and crush them I then Bribed the Irish on their own land and destroyed the faction, and I have lost all of my mainland provinces to betrayel!!!! and I was forced to destroy all of my ports and flood the land with assassins and Killing all of the trapped Eminassaries :whip: . I have never seen the AI go on a Mass co-ordinated bribing spree, is this Normal XL Behaviour?

Dont get me wrong It was damn exciting and challenging which I did love I just would be happy to know if this is likely to continue so as to counter act its affects. And one more thing It all stopped as quickly as it started as the Next turn I was At war with No-one without actually receiving any offer of ceasfires :dizzy2:

Bribing is more common in XL than in vanilla, yes, but I've never experienced in that scale:inquisitive:

The last there sounds like auto-ceasefire due to no connection.

But uh, no I've never seen that happen. I've played XL and VI a lot and there are some things that I've just never seen happen, like gaining lands due to princess or, really, enemy bribery.

Ditto that.

While the AI does bribe somewhat more often in XL, I think your experience is probably unique, gaiusjulii. I would be surprised if that's happened to anyone else before, especially to that extent!
