Bug report for V0.81a: Failed to find texture

I got an error message while loading battle:

Generic error: Failed to find texture "eb/data/models_unit/textures/unit_greek_hoplite_macedon.tga"

What version do you have?
If 081a, what is the makeup of both armies?

I get the same error, except the texture it fails to find is Unit_Barb_infantry_dacia.tga

I get it whenever I attack two certain Elutheroi armies in one of my saved games, the only common unit to both is Persian Archer-Spearmen

Turns out I was using .81, not .81a. I'll try the hotfix and see if it helps.

Well I'm not able to load my old save now, but working under .81a in a similar situation I get this error:

Filename does not exist

Sounds like a bad installation. Please try to download the 0.81a full installer again and install over a clean RTW 1.5.

What it was, was I extracted the 81a patch to the EB directory, not the Rome Total War directory. :oops:

Works good now.
