help please

I have installed MTW. The instalation seemed to go smoothly, however when I try to run the game I get this message;

"The procedure entry point MiniDumpWriteDump could not be located in the dynamic link library dbghelp.dll."

I have tried reinstalling; same result.

Help anyone? :help:

It seems this is quite a complex issue , drakkon. I found only this:

but you may have to get some tech advice and post your computer details.

If Tony's link to Microsoft support winds up not helping, I recommend you visit the Apothecary (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=15) and see if the guys there can't help you out.

Post up some system specs and what Os are you trying to run the game on? That error points to a problem with the debugger, though there is probably an underlying problem causing the game to crash in the first place.
