View Full Version : Polybian Reform?
I am playing as the Romani and have not had any reforms in the training of military units and am begining to get worried. Can I ask when the Polybian reform comes into play? I think the Marian reform was cerca 107 BC? I am at 112 BC now and the units haven't changed to the later forms. First time so I don't know when it should happen, but I would imagine the first reform should have occured. Even the rebels have changed in Italy...

I should have happened by 241.
Do you have the background script on?

You have to have 2 of the Sicilian cities and 2 of the three cities directly north of your starting cities. It also has to be at least 242 BC. If you meet these requirements, then you should see a new factional MIC show up in the building queue.
If you don't see the new MIC, and your so far into the game, then I'm going to ask: have you activated the script every time you loaded the game?
Sorry for sounding idiotic, just looked at the FAQ... eh, wasn't loading script. Damn

 I read somewhere that The reforms are not set by year... but by turn numbers the script is active for... so if you did not turn on the script for 40 turns u will not see the reforms till 232 BC... if you never turned on the scripts :jawdrop:
