View Full Version : I cant figure it out? BUG?

Just bought the game today have only played for 2 hours or so.

Whenever I press the spacebar or the right arrow key, it makes the game go to a loading screen and resets my game.



It's very aggrivating trying to do anything in the combat part of the game not being able to move my screen w/o the right arrow key.

Looked at the key settings, and there is no explanation.

What type of computer do you have? I remember that before there was a key on some comps that would do multiple things at once when pressed.

Yup, when I adjust the brightness of my screen on my laptop using the function key and up/down arrow, thye game is reloaded to the last save, sound is muted, character names are toggled on, settlements names toggled off and the console is opened.

Sounds like the same is happening here, it's probably due to your keyboard.

That is exactly what happens to me!!!! It's annoying isn't it?

If you've got keyboard drivers installed, it might be worth looking through them to see if there's an option to disable the extra function keys...

Melock, I'm on a Dell Inspiron 9400 myself. You might want to try and call Dell, they might have an answer.

Or alternatively disable/uninstall all "keyboard drivers" altogether. Keyboards are such simple devices they shouldn't need one, and I find all those extra function keys to be useless and that the software usually just gets in the way, as is probably happening here...

I've had endless problems with just a MS internet keyboard b/c I'm using standard XP drivers.


Get a decent keyboard driver :rolleyes:
Why not CA giving us better hardware support with the game :idea2:

I wouldn't expect CA to have an interface for every weird keyboard driver. The manufacturer has to supply one that fits the standards and doesn't send all kind of commands when you use a simple setting :shocked2:
