It's awesome, isn't it. I'm just hoping they find the time to incorporate "unit 1 vs unit 2" functionality like they did for MTW as that was really good.

Love it too. Loved the MTW/VI tool as well.

I think they will eventually. It's been a few months now since they last updated I think, so next update should be soon.

Does anyone know the rules used on this for the final headline figure?

I guess It's something like armour + Attack (spear bonus) + charge + special abilities (high morale? High stamina?).

But any other maths used? While it's really useful I can't work out why DFKs get overall 40 - higher than other units I would expect to chew them up and spit them out.

The combat rating is:


(att + def*HP + armour + shield)+(morale+charge)/2

Surely I remember the prominent Sinan, from Turkey!
I am highly honored that you like my humble works :)

The calculation for combat rating is very simple. ( just same as it in MTW1)

: (att + def*HP + armour + shield)+(morale+charge)/2

I know it's not perfect. There r many factors that the ratings can't cover. The combat logic of M2TW is so coplicate to cover whole factor. If you have any idea about that, please advise me. And for the same reason, the Matchup systems are not developed yet.

And sadly, added to this, I don't have so much times like a few years ago. :(
