need help installing EB

I've downloaded the .exe file from torrent several times. Each time I try to run the installer, it starts to extract files and just keeps extracting files for about 30 minutes. There is a bar that gradually grows one block at a time from left to right to show progress and it keeps restarting back at the first block. I also get the exact same message repeated intermittently that it has failed on a particular file called something like "gallic_heavy_horse.wav".

Does it take more than 30 minutes for the files to be extracted?

I'd like to try EB out. Any advice would be appreciated.

While the installer certainly takes its time, 30 minutes is more than I'd expect.

As you've downloaded several times, a bad download seems unlikely too. But there is no file with name even close to gallic_heavy_horse.wav in EB :inquisitive:. You could try to download from the FTP. It should be the same file really, but just to be sure...
