I stumbled on first hang I could reproduce. It happens in a reinforced battle with me as makedonian attacker and the Koinon Hellenon as the defender.

Here is the link to the save game: http://uploaded.to/?id=xs0m2w.

The bug is reproduced this way: Take the Corinthian Governor and reinforce Antigonos in the battle. He is standing just west of Athene. The Corinthian governor (Antigonos' son) must stand on the land bridge grid, effectively making him look like he is standing on water. Next, attack with Antigonos the KH stack next to him. Battlescreen should show Antigonos as attackers and his son as reinforcement, and KH captain as defender and family member as reinforcement. In the battle, you can deploy your troops, but at the moment you press "Start Battle" the game hangs. It isn't a CTD, but a "program not responding" type of hang, which I have to get out with ctrl+alt+del.

I suspect it is to do with the fact that in the battlemap the corner where Antigonos' son should be coming from, is at the middle of the sea.

Quite possible you're right, but a somewhat rare hang (I don't know that it's been reported before), if it is happening because of the isthmus we have, seems to be a negative we would still be willing to overlook given the benefits. Having the isthmus where you can pull ships across if you own Corinth really is a neat twist that we would be loathe to get rid of - unless this issue was shown to occur quite commonly I would think. It's good to realize there may be a problem like you are stating though, and it would be good for us to remember this one for future reference.

Do the areas of the campaign map, where you can both move ships and armies, always show up on the battle map as land? Because if you take a look at Mytilene in the battle map, you will notice that Lesbos is NOT an island in EB.

Well, it's only half and island. Looks like an island on the strat map, but like it's not on the battlemap. It is something we'd like to have perfectly fixed, but having the crossable strait there is too good of a thing for us to take out. If we do that we might as well remove it entirely because it won't factor into the game except as a last refuge for the makedonians to survive on for as long as they like.

I agree with you about that, TA. I was only a bit confused because I fought several battles in the area of Byzantion and the Bosporus, and it surely looked like sea. Oh, and Corfu also looked like a full island. :)
