Ok, I know, really weird question but does anyone know if Hannibal Barca had a wife or not. Or if he had children, names would be nice but its not absolutely necessary.

You piqued my curiousity, so I looked @ wikipedia, which mentions no wife, however, I do recollect him having one but no children from one of the Ross Leckie books, but those are historical fiction and she may have been a plot device. IIRC, she was killed by some Roman auxiallaries in the book. On an interesting note, there is a movie called "Hannibal the Conquerer" slated for 2008 release. It will star Vin Deisel, which I dunno if that's good or bad.

K, thanks for directing me in the right direction. I did manage to find some information about his family, briefly. Only that she was an Iberian princess of sorts, but I'm also interested of what happened to them after Zama.
