at moment u cant see any upgrades!!

i thougth about an easy solution and i think i found 1....

now u can see just the honour of the units, it should be possible to include in the exist big flag, in the upper and bottom of the flag, 2 spaces wich should have the different colour of bronce, silver or gold...

i mean this, in the bottom u can see the weapon upgrade and in the upper part u can see the armour upgrade....quite easy...

Konnichiwa,

In the current system a H9 YA differs a lot from a H0 YA. I would like smaller upgrades but hidden. Or if it's visual: normal soldiers have a sword, upgraded have big broadswords. At this moment a Nod sprite is one piece (even that's not completely true for all unitsprites), make one sprite for the man and another for his weapon.

Elite units like knights could use personal weapons (authentic): one has a sword, 2nd has an axe, third has a warhammer. As it seems that every single man in a unit has personal stats (can be different from each other within a unit, just check a Campaign logfile) this system could be more than just eye candy! A weapon could have his own stat.

Thus an elite knightunit would have an average combat stat, but each unit in it would perform slightly different (sort of a mixed unit).

But I 'understand' that some people want other kinds of games, and would love information like Kocmoc san suggests. An excellent example of yet another toggle.

I would be very happy not seeing any honour stats on units - it would force generals to play a completely different kind of game (the kind I like playing http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif )

As for weapon stats, yes - individual stats would be good, but just a thought, wouldn't the increased need for the same information on many computers in multiplayer make out of sinc errors more common or at least more likely? (I am no programmer)

I believe this would be way too much information to exhibit. One couldn't know this stuff. Even knowing the honor is too much most of the time. So I agree with Whitey. Maybe a special banner indicating a famous unit would be enough since some units might enjoy a well known reputation.
