Clean re-install and unlocked factions

Hello,

I reformatted my computer over the weekend and re-installed M2TW (with leaked 1.2 patch). I had a backup of all my savegames (and preference file) which I copied back into the saves folder.

However when starting a new campaign, I only get the default factions, not the complete list I saw before the re-install.

I copied over the old preference file (which had a line in it about played factions) but still no luck.

So I load a savegame just prior to winning the english campaing, played through a few turns to get the win movie. I played on, made a savegame and went back to the main menu. But still no extra factions were unlocked.

Is there another file or location I should be looking at?

Add the following lines to your medieval2.preference.cfg file, and restart the game.

The lines will dissappear from your CFG, but it'll unlock all of the factions for you.

unlock_campaign = true
