I noticed that only Roman officers on the strategy map have vanilla skins. All other factions have new skins for soldiers and officers. Is that a bug?

On a related note, the Casse general on the campaign map still uses the 0.7 FM model that has already been replaced on the battlefield.

They will be replaced by the time EB hits 1.0, but since there is so much that is still to be implemented the strat map skins are low on the list.

What is high on the list by the way?

CTD killing is high I'm sure, but what else? Putting the rest of the new units in?

Just curious.

Yeah, finishing missing units is probably at the top. Then fixing some of the current problems with units (historical and graphical) and other things like this come next. However, some of us, like me or scripters or traiters or such, have very little to do with that aspect and keep plodding along with other stuff, lots of other new stuff.

CTD prevention is at the top, but we're pretty close to a solution. The problem, as most anyone who downloaded the CTD fix knows, was rebelling cities without any troops to rebel with.

New units are being integrated and several are being concepted and sent to modellers and skinners. Some units that aren't even elites are very fantastic. The wait will be very worth it and most recruitment holes will be filled with regionals and placeholders will be replaced.

Other than that are some new things that no one on the team is at liberty to discuss. But have no fear, they will certainly make some factions very, very interesting play - especially the new faction that Kull mentioned.

May the conspiracy theories begin!

Yeah, I sort of forget about that CTD issue because I rarely have them. I do have them with new stuff I'm trying out and testing though - and remember we are still adding lots of new stuff too, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility that we run into new problems as well.
