VI Medieval Campaign Amoured Spearmen

I'm Playing the VI medeval campaign and I'd like to know how to get armoured spearmen, what buildings, era, ect. These are my faverite unit and it says they're available in the Medieval Campaign but I can't find them.

I've played as the danes, the arogonese and the sicilians.

They are aviable to the Novogrods, Russian, Hungarians, Swiss and Polish.

I´d say that spearmaker workshop + armorer. But look in the unit-build file. Don't trust me for the reçs of a unit I seldom build :p

Unless you mod it, yes.

Chivalric spearmen is better, so they are only really useful in early. Very useful for the Russians though, as they lack CS or any other good spearmen.

They are aviable to the Novogrods, Russian, Hungarians, Swiss and Polish.
They are in fact an addition from the VI campaign. They look more like vikings than anything else and use the Viking Carl/Landsmenn/Huscarle animation sprites when in battle. In view of this it seems strange that the Danes can't train them and that the Swiss can. The only faction that really needs them are indeed the Russians as the rest can train FS and CS, or in the case of the Novgorodians they have the Rus Spearmen in early anyway.
