I had the same problem. I also had it with the leaked patch. It took me a week to get past it with the leaked.

I just kept installing over and over and one if the times it worked.

It took 4 trys with this official patch but now it works.

I only D/L it once.

Try reinstalling but don't apply the 1.1 patch

I did mate... uninstalled the game, i even cleaned the registry, deleted the SEGA folder, restarted the computer, re-installed the game, tried to launch the 1.2 patch.

Same result as before. :wall:

Ok.

I was just going by the fact that the screenshot you posted indicated that you had v1.1 installed

Ye thats right, my bad, I tried it with 1.1 to 1.2 the first time and thats where i took the screenshot. However, i tried it at least 5 times now from 1.0 to 1.2 and it gives me exactly the same bloody error :dizzy2:

Does it allow you to install the leaked patch at all?

Delete the patch you have and download it from a different site.

If that's a relatively comon problem and fix someone should sticky this solution or transfer to FAQ above

Doubt that many have the vista transformation pack installed - unless the problem is with WB or the uxtheme patch (neither of which i'm running atm)

I think its say in the Vista Tranformation Pack 'use at your own risk'...its bound to have problems and some compatibility issues..i was interested in it...but decided not to take the risk as i have a lot of my work saved in my PC..

A lot of people have reported problems installing the new patch, or even installing the vanilla game (where it worked before).

My current theory is that some other software has been installed that has broken the InstallShield installer used by CA. I am trying to work out what this is but without much success so far.
