From the readme file:
Battle Editor
This tool is unsupported by either Creative Assembly or Sega, it is
provided as is and there are no guarantees that it is free from bugs.
You can run the Battle Editor in two ways:
1. Run Medieval2.exe with the commandline switch:
medieval2.exe --features.editor
2. In the config file add the following option:
[features]
editor = true
The readme file is in your main Medieval II install folder, there's also more info in there about the cinematic editor.
how do i run anything with a command line? please i saw the readme but I dinnt really understand
and that is only about the battle editor and not about the cinematic one
to run a file with a commandline switch, create a file called [whatever].bat in your m2tw directory and add that line to it.
It's worth while reading the readme, though ~;)
what do u mean create a file??? how do I do that and is the line excaclty like its in the read me with the -- and the spaces?
Okay, i'll go through this step by step.
- Open notepad
- Copy the lines exactly as shown
- Click file, save as
- Navigate to your m2tw directory
- Where it says "text document (.txt)" click and change to "all files"
- enter the file name as "medieval2.bat"
