I would link to a wiki page, but it contains bad langage, so I sadly cannot, or at least not without breaking the forum rules. Sorry. However, from what I know:
AFAIK — As far as I know
BTW — By the way
Bump — When somebody posts in a thread to bring it back up to the top of the forum page and get it noticed.
Spam — Posting, which often makes no sense, just to increase post-count. Most posts of this nature include the phrase "+1" to indicate the level of which their post count has increased by.
AoR (a.k.a ZoR) — Area/Zone of recruitment, A feature in many modifications, and in the games M:TW and R:TW, which restricts certain units to be trained in certain regions. For example, Swiss Pikemen can only be trained in the province of Switzerland or Spartan Hoplites only being available in Sparta and Syracuse.
PBM (a.k.a PBeM)— Play by (e-mail) campaign. A nice explanation of this can be found here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=30871).
Hope this helps, cheers!

Thanks guys! :)
Found two more confusing ones:
FRAPS
UI
Also, as for FTW ("for the win), "[x] ftw" means "[x] is (a) good (thing)". Could be extended to FTD, ~L (For the Draw, ~Loss) - again, "This is mediocre"/"This is bad", but those are really only joke ones.

UI is User Interface, I believe. It's basically what you see on screen (Unit cards, mini-map...)
FRAPS, I don't think is an abreviation, but is a usefull program to take screenshots and videos. It's free, but in that case you can only get 30 seconds max videos. I don't know any other limitation.

An abbreviation is a shortening of a word or phrase, commonly made by only using the first letter in each word, example After Action Report becomes AAR.
Also, IIRC - If I Remember Correctly
To save you time, if you ever come upon the letters GUI it just refers to the previously answered abbreviation UI or User Interface. (GUI = Graphic User Interface if you ever need to know).
IMO - In My Opinion
IMHO - In My Honest Opinion
And a few M2TW unit specific abbreviations:
DGK - Dismounted Gothic Knights
DFK - Dismounted Feudal Knights
DCK - Dismounted Chivalric Knights
S&S - Sword & Shield
2hander - Anything from Zweihänder ( two handed sword:two hander ) to 2handed Axe
IMHO can also mean In My Humble Opinion

Thanks!
What does EDU stand for?
export_descr_unit - It's a data file in the data folder of your root game in either M2TW or RTW, if that makes any sense to you. ~_^
Don't worry about it unless you plan on modifying your game.
CITC® - Camels Insulted, Thread Closed®

Hi I Am Herenow,
A famous moderator, who is highly revered by most in the community, named Mithrandir, has a dedicated passion for camels. It is believed that he gained this adoration through playing M:TW Multiplayer Player (MP) and winning many battles due to their superior uses against those highly inferior horses! Mithrandir closes most threads which insult camels with his famous words "Camels Insulted, Thread Closed!". However, don't worry, he never closes threads for just that reason, that's just his catchphrase! Hope this helps, cheers!
BTW, OP/TS - Original Poster/Thread Starter - the person who began the thread.

2nd mod that spam.
Andres found Sasaki Kojiro spamming in the Midgard Saga.
ATC : AndresTheCunning. Changed his name to Andres to avoid any misinterpretations, like AndresTheCamel. Dislikes camels because they stink. They really do.

Hi again I Am Herenow,
Almost! I, think, sorry, I may be wrong as I'm not a modder, that it stands for the files in M2:TW and R:TW installations know as export_descr_units (EDU) and export_descr_buildings (EDB). They both determine what the building's and unit statistics are within the two games and can be modded easily and at will. Hope this helps, cheers!

LOL ! yeah ! I remember Mithrandir's camels in MTW very well !
I LOVE camels as well, especially CAMEL GUNNERS !!!
Have a look here (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=74941) for some screenshots, post number 6.
There's a lot of other unit abbreviations. e,g:
Spear Militia: SM
Town Militia: TM
Levy Spearmen: LS
Longbowmen: LBs
Armored Swordsmen: AS&S
Peasant Archers = PA
Archer Militia = AM
Retinue Longbowmen = RLBs
Sherwood Archers = SA (mine is SS = Sherwood Snipers)
Heavy Bill Milita = HBM
Heavy Billmen = HB
Dismounted English Knights = DEK
Dismounted Feudal Knights = DFK
Feudal Knights = FK
Mailed Knights = MK
English Knights = EK
Bodyguard = BG
Knights Templar = KT
Knights Hospitaller= KH
Arqbusiers = Arqs
Chivalric Knights = CK
Dismounted Chivalric Knights = DCK
etc... etc... I will post a complete list in a few hours (need to do some work!). The most frequently used ones are the (not surprisingly) the knight abbreviations.

Sherwood Archers = SA (mine is SS = Sherwood Snipers)
Thanks for the info, but aren't SA and SS slightly unfortunate choices of abbreviation, if you don't mind me saying so?
I don't think so, why ?
SS as in WW2 SS you mean ? I did'nt think of that, if that's what you are thinking.
SA as in .... ? South Africa ? BEEEAUTIIIFUULLL (is how the Xhosa pronounce it) country, sad past. Can't think of any other SA abbreviations at the moment. Or are they other units which have the same abbreviations ?
Show me the light !

SA was Hitler's police pre 1939 (or somewhere before that) and afterwards it was the SS.
But basically they were Germany's government's secret police.

Ahem... that's a four letter words whitch usage is strictly forbidden. I geuss that France or French are used to give a hint on abusive language instead, as in "Excuse my french", etc...
WTF means something like "What?? Oh my, but how??? Are you kidding??? Oh nooo!!!"
