Hi edyzmedieval,
I think that "stalin" was perma-banned for having a more "adult" sort of posting style than the moderators liked a while ago. I'm not too sure, however, so I may be wrong - it was just a rumour I read while browsing a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, a number of those are still active, or at least occasionally active. Others are sadly depriving us of the joy of their company. I'd like to add Mouzafphaerre to the list of those who are missed as well.

Yep, I miss his company as well. I got a PM from him a while back, he's in one piece, but I think he's taking an extended vacation from the Org.

I second those who miss Mouzafphaerre, Pape, and Mount Suribachi. It's been too long since they've been around.

Drisos still posts in the Shogun forums from time to time. In fact, he just did a couple days ago. ~:)

But - according to Somebody Else - you don't partake in this website. At all. So, how could you be missed?

He hasn't exactly disappeared as such - just checking his profile, he was last active on 26th April this year.

Maybe someone can pm him and find out why he doesn't post no more?

Prole I think is in Australia for a month, she left around Easter (I remember seeing something about it in one of the Backroom Easter threads).

Last I heard of Mount Suribachi he was preparing for a move. He is sorely missed in KotR.

Actually, EYG reappeared in the Main Hall a few months ago, although he seems to have disappeared once more into the ether (his last visit date shows as 04/15/07). I got the impression that real-life issues have kept him from participating here more than he'd like.

Is Watchman still around?Sorry K COSSAK. He hasn't visited or posted in quite a while - he last visited on the 9th of July. You could try e-mailing (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=7509) him and ask how he's getting on though.

I, personally, would like to know the whereabouts of César Victor and LuckyDogTrojan. They weren't really large posters, but they didn't half have great personalities - we got into some very interesting conversations in the Colosseum.

Greeting patrons!

It warms the cockles of my tired old heart to see so many of you remembering me, let alone missing me.

I have barely been to the Org since the Opus Magnus that was The Will Of The Senate finished, musta been late last year. That was without a doubt the high point of my years at the Org. When it finished I was a little washed out with TW, and the follow up required more time and effort than I had or was prepared to give.

I got MTW2 at Christmas, but I have played it only twice, about the same number of times as I have played RTR:PE as I attempt to finish my sprawling Bactria campaign.

A change in shift pattern has left me with less free time to do things like TW, coupled with things like my little boy no longer having an afternoon nap (there goes 1-2 hours of peace every day!). That and my wife works from home and so hogs the PC most of the time.

So what little "Suribachi" time I have tends to go on my other passion, scale modelling, or walking in the rolling green hills of Lincolnshire. Here's a little taster of what I've been doing instead of TW.

https://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x236/RedwingNev/final4.jpg

https://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x236/RedwingNev/final3.jpg

I'm also a reviewer for a modelling magazine (Scale Aviation Modeler International) so when I get a review kit there is kind of an onus on me to crack on with it.

Whoever remembered I was moving house gets a nice badge, that went very well and we're all settled in now. My wife is also pregnant again (not what I had planned!) and is due Jan 4th.

So again, thankyou for noticing my absence, I'll try not to be such a stranger in future!

Have you visited the Throne Room lately? A MTWII version of the WotS is currently underway, you should check it out if you manage to find some free pc time - it's quite a read !

Hi all!

I'm still around, now and then. Don't worry. I've just not had any time for like a year to enjoy the frontroom regularly. I'm not playing any single game atm, and hope to play the Samurai Wars mod for MTW:VI online soon, but I'm having difficulties logging in.

I just got back from a week of pre-university partying, and in two weeks the actual 'learning stuff' will start. I think I'm going to like it a lot. I don't have a computer for myself yet. But if I do get it, I might become slightly more active here and there again.

Congratulations, MS!

And edyz thanks for listing me.

I could never forget about the nice and honourable people from stw and the extremely funny people from here.. so, I don't plan to 'leave' at any time. ~:)
