Long time reader, first time poster, and all that jazz.
First I'd like to extend my gratitude to the hundreds of helpful people on this forum. This has been my primary resource for anything Totalwar, my favorite games by far. I pledge to be as helpful as I can, and to share my findings as you have selflessly shared yours.
Salute!
Welcome Tambarskjelve ~

Welcome Tambarskjelve! ~
Andres put it well indeed. My impression (I don't think it's just mine either) is that we're a community, and that therefore we should help each other out. Anyway, no one complained about it before so...

Never admit this. :shocked2: Tosa will send Tribesman after you to collect the back dues you owe! Didn't you read the contract? :deal: You'll be lucky if they let you off with helping Pev'!
iow Welcome! Enjoy and have fun. Don't mention you can do skins or the EB thugs will spirit you off in the night and give you an endless amount of work to do, "for the good of the order." :wiseguy:
Welcome ~
There's a lot of scary people around here, especially with all the camel talk and whatnot.

Thank you again, all.
I'm pretty up to date on Camels and their superiority over other fourlegged animals, having skimmed the forums for some time. However, the dues I was not aware of. Is camel-dung accepted currency?
Hello Tambarskjelve,
You won't need currency here.
Thank you again, all.

Nah. Just spend a few days shoveling out the stables and you're good. ~D

Ah, you mean those guys I bribed! ;P

Good retort. :wiseguy: RTW never let you bribe them unless they were attached to an army though. And I really did use them to train up killers.
Actually, there were a couple of cities where, in the mid-game, you always seemed to end up with a gaggle of diplomats milling about with nobody to talk to. Pergamum was such a spot. You could usually find 5-6 relatively soft targets for training and still get back to your city to spy-hunt before the end of your move. Then you could give the cool retinue to a new assassin and send the base 6 or 7 eyeball guy out hunting. Lovely fun.
