Hi ilikethisgame5,
According to your post in the Colosseum you do not have the latest patches. To get up to the latest version you first need to patch up to 1.2. The 1.2 patch can be found here (http://games.softpedia.com/progDownload/Rome-Total-War-Patch-Download-5047.html). Next you simply have to download the latest 1.5 patch from here (http://games.softpedia.com/get/Patch/Rome-Total-War-15-Patch.shtml). After you have followed both these instructions and installed both patches, you can play MP!

To access MP, first click on the "Multiplayer" Button on the Main Screen.

After you have done that simply press the "Insert CD Key" button. The screen should come up with an area to type text reqesting you to enter your CD-key. You can often find your CD key on the back of your manual. Other likely places are on the disk or on the back of your disk-case. If you are absolutly sure that you don't have a CD Key, then take your game back to who you purchased it from

Once the key is inserted press the green tick and then press the highest button on the list. Insert the name you want to play with, press the green tick, and enter the world of MP.

I think you first need to patch upto 1.3. After that you can patch it to 1.5. Get the patches. They are definitely worth having.
