Medieval archive?

Won't be it good to have an archive for the best threads of this section? Like the "Japanese samurai vs European knights" or the "invincible army???"

We already have a strategy archive of useful threads for STW. When Med TW is out, we will be keep the most useful, strategy wise, sending those threads in the archive.

As for keeping the type of threads that you have mentioned for ever, like a souvenir, sorry it won't be possible. When a thread is dead on the third page, eventually it will be deleted.

These are not spam threads and not even OT, there is lively discussion in them and quite a lot of interesting information. Would it make a big difference preserving a dozen of them?

Do some lobbying on the admin, especially on the evil Dojo admin (the site is admin is even worse http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif) and tell him to get the "good" threads from our Dojo backup and post them in the archives.

The good archives can be put into PDFs or HTML and placed as static 'pages' on the Org site. That way they dont take up spaced from the fragging servers...

On that subject... you ever notice that the term 'frag' means to "slay one's superior"? So what does this company convey with a name like 'Telefragged'... I guess they killed their boss and are taunting the world about it... http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/confused.gif

A medieval archive - hmm.

How about a History Archive? The aforementioned threads are general enough in nature not to really fit into the realm of game-related strategic thoughts. But that certainly doesn't diminish their interest.
