How does the AI calculates the number of days that a city stands besieged?
I would think that the "Food" value in EDU for each of the besieged units plus some standard "Food" value for the population, should be taken into account [Total T = Unit U + Population P].
A "Food" value for each city (based on the city/village's farm level and wealth - money income) [C] would be divided by the total obtained above [T] and this would give the number of days under siege [# days = C / T]
However, it is widely said that the "Food" value in EDU was never used by the game. So, this whole "theory" doesn't stand.
Can someone give me a clue?
