During 60 turns playing Egypt i was attacked on turn 10 by Byzantyne peasants/town militia (3 units) and 1 turn later i made peace with Byz and signed alliance with them. Next time i got attacked by Turks at turn 59, 1 turn later i got them as vassals. Rest of time - total peace. Relations with Byz improving every turn without any payments. Took rebel edessa, antioch and aleppo on turns 55-60(they was rebel, not Turkish)
Playing on VH/VH. This situation seems VERY strange to me, so i decided to check if i REALLY playing on VH/VH or may be forgot to switch it before starting new game. This is first time i playing with 1.2 patch. Is there any possibilty to check files to know on what difficulty i am playing?:help:

Will be interesting if it is VH, duno what to do then...

Download MedManager. It allows you to both check and change.

BTW, I'm thinking you are playing on VH, I had the same surprise myself when I played my first 1.2 campaign... I just couldn't believe why noone attacked me :laugh4:

i also experienced this new found peacefulness of the AI even on VH/VH in my first 1.2 campaign (egypt too).

but once the pope called the first crusade it was total war again because all catholics (except the scottish) joined in.

Thanks for reply guys, so i can wait another surprises from the game, ehh, well, i like new things and NEW GAMES , just like MTW2 and MTW2.
