flv not converting with sound

i have a .flv(flash video file) file that i can not play, after converting it to a fla file, it loses the sound. Can anyone help?

You could download an flv player.

Or find some kind of plugin for Winamp, assuming Winamp is your audio/video player. If it's not it should be, 'cause it's the most versatile media player I know of, and you're almost certain to find what you need.
