For me the most promising one is this one about cooperation between cultures and more 3 way fights in SP.

Q12. Will there be more cooperation between allied nations in Medieval: Total War than in Shogun: Total War? What will you be able to do with allies ?
A12. As well as cooperation between nations there is cooperation within cultures, so for example the Catholic nations will be able to band together on Crusades. Also, your allies will often send in armies to help fight so there are more interesting 3 way battles.

good stuff i love it. it sounds as though this game isn't breaking any barriers but is massively expanding in scope and depth on an already superb game (that's STW http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/wink.gif )
