I was just browsing the custom battle roster for the Saka and I noticed that they have several Hellenic units I have never seen before, such as the Hoplitai Indohellenikoi, Hoplitai Hellenikon, Agema Hippeon Hellenikon, Agema Hellenikon, and Peltastai Indohellenikoi.
I used some cheats on the original province to see if I could get these units, and surprisingly I cannot, as the nomad is the only type of "government" that it can get, and even the highest MIC only yield calvary (and foot-archers). So, if I wanted to recruit the said units, where/how could I get them?
Edit: I just read the FAQ on reforms (shock! awe!) and noticed that the Saka have reforms, and most of the provinces listed seem to be Baktrian. Could someone more educated on this perhaps describe what these reforms do?

The reforms allow them to recruit Hellenistic units. :juggle2:

A lot of them are not available where the Saka start either, but in Baktria and India.

How do you get reform?

Hold: Baktra, Marakanda, Alexandreia Eschate, Antiocheia Margiane, Alexandreia Ariana, Taksashila. (i think) Then you seem to get a guy with a trait: not saka reformer???, if you make this guy your faction heir, then four years after he beomes leader he will make the reforms happen. Not realy sure about this at all as I'm just pulling it out the EDC (and I'm no traiter) but just hold the cities (I'm sure about those) and then see what happens.

Hold these for 2 consecutive winters.
Then you will get the "becoming Indosaka" reforms, which will get you all those wonderful units.

No, not at all. I think you've mixed up Saka and Roman Imperial reforms there.

Then what does this mean:
Trigger AcquireSakaReformer
WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd
Condition FactionType pontus
and IsFactionLeader
and Trait SakaReformer < 1
and Trait YearsPassed = 4
Affects SakaReformer 1 Chance 100

This is a hidden trait that allows the script to know when to trigger the saka reforms.

So does he have to be the faction leader or not?

Just do what the FAQ says and whatever faction-leader the Saka have will get the trait thus triggering the reforms.
