Medieval Total War supports up to eight players in multiplayer skirmishes, in King of the Hill, Assassin and Last Man Standing mods. The scenario and campaign editors that will ship with the game will enable players to design their own maps, and the developers announced that they would be publishing additional downloadable items, units, campaigns and scenarios on the official game site

I don't know how old these news are but why noone told me that we will be able to add new units to the game? Man you can design all kind of alternative history you like! I am not sure if unit editors will be part of the game but I'd love to see that happening.
I bet NPC units will be made playable online first so praise the developers Baltic Warfare Junkies http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
As for me I want Cossacks in my Ranks, and i'll be ready to kick some Turkish ass.
Regards, Ryurik.
