The NHL finals this year will be the Anaheim Ducks against the Ottawa Senators. If anybody is watching hockey here, what team do you expect to win it all?

I don't think I can pick a favorite before I see Game 1. I need to find out whether Ottawa can get better chances than Detroit did against the Ducks' defense and goaltending. If the Sens lose control of the boards and can't get out of their own end like Detroit did, I can't see them winning. I also don't know about the strength of the conferences and if one of the teams has had better competition throughout the playoffs.

Can't really say, since I don't get Versus. I don't really have a clue since I haven't been able to watch any play this year. Hopefully the NHL will get broadcast on ESPN again soon, so I can follow it a little closer.

I suppose I'll root for Ottawa, Anaheim winning the Stanly Cup is about as wrong as a Florida team winning the Cup.

My sentiment exactly.

Ducks vs Senators? What a sissy sport.

To be fair, they used to be called the "Mighty Ducks".

Any team -- especially a team owned by Disney -- named the Ducks should never, *ever* win. Period.

Well, they're not owned by Disney anymore; that's why "Mighty" was dropped from their name. But, judging by Ottawa's horrid performance in Game 2, it looks as if we're going to have to live with it.

Right. What I'm saying, though, is that any team that's been owned by Disney -- either currently OR in the past -- is forever tainted. ~;p

I know. Truly a bitter bill to swallow....

What is this "Stanley Cup" and how much soup does it hold?

I loved the fight they had a couple of games ago (where the Senators won 5-3 in a great comeback). Good stuff.

I stopped watching the finals after ottawa put one in thier own net, that made it 3-1 and really put them out of the game.

I'm a Leafs fan anyways, so seeing Ottawa loose wasn't that hard to watch.

Indeed; and how bitter-tasting it is....
