will medieval work with a 5 to 8 mb graphics card, because it sais that it requires a minimum of 16,

i guess not then?
Get a new card.. NP u can pick a 16mb TNT2 for around £10 on ebay.Easy to fit etc.If money is a problem.

These days you can also get a 32mb gf2 free on an nforce motherboard if you're thinking of upgrading but want to wait on the graphics. 6xAGP makes it ok for a little while.
