Well those other topics got me to wondering so i did some googling :laugh4:
I found this site and Its pretty interesting although kind of deep for me , but im plodding through it. Just thought I ask for some of your opinions on it.

We are sometimes deceived, therefore we could always be deceived!
Have you ever thought you heard something, but there was nothing there? Have you ever thought you saw someone in the corner of your eye, and when you looked there was no person there? Have you ever looked at an illusion and been deceived that one line was longer than the other, but really it wasn't? When you look down from a high building on people, do they appear small like ants? Aren't there thousands of occasions when we do mis-perceive?
If we are wrong on some occasions, for example, from a height people look the size of ants, is it not possible that we are always deceived? Logical necessity requires the answer: Yes, to this question. It is possible that things as we perceive them are not that way at all!

Yeah that fits this topic well.
Just remember to take the BLUE pill if/when the nice man offers you one.
Ever see that movie "The Matrix"..... ?
Why watch the remake when you could read the original? Check out the works of Phillip K. Dick (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phillip_K_Dick) ...

What the Bleep is an excellent movie but full of holes and it misuses information and quotations. not to mention the primary creator believes he is the reincarnation of a ten thousand year old indian god or something crazy

Somewhat on topic, I'm curious if anyone knows if you can manipulate what you could call the sixth sence. And in this case I'm talking about body awareness (aka balance sence, knowing were your limbs are without touching or seeing them, etc). It's easy to disrupt that (getting drunk for example), but can you manipulate it, aka give it false information, say that you sit when you stand and stuff like that?
To completely trick the mind, you'll need to deal with that.

Try this:
1. Stand in front of a wall with both arms hanging down, palms away from the wall.
2. Push both arms against the wall for some time.
3. step back from the wall, and notice what happens to your arms...
What is a reality is a very interesting question.
Actually even if one's eyes are not playing tricks on him, then he still cannot say that what he is seeing is reality --- because what one sees and how one sees it is quite literally specific to the indvidual's eyes that are looking at it. Commonly accepted science will even back this up. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is a truism, not just a cliche.
As a youth, I was "Bible-thumping" some fellow youths and usually I was pretty good at it. But once one other youth stumped me. He made the argument that Buddha, Allah, Jehovah etc. are all signals sent from the same god. Then he had 3 separate radios hooked up in the same room, each set to the same station playing the same song at the same time. Each of them sounded drastically different from each other. Then he asked me: "Which one is the real one?" To this day I still can not conceive of a proper answer to that question. :embarassed:
The best I can conclude is that reality is a concept that cannot be definitively perceived by any man - man is too inferior for that.

it has nothing to do with "man". quantum physics is all about the "observer". If there's no observer, does it exist? when you turn your head away from the window so you cant see outside, does it cease to exist because you can't percieve it? whats in your brain, and what is not? its very fascinating stuff.
I think that in reality, there is just me, and all this here is a long dream, thus all of you aren't real. Makes me wonder why I keep talking to you, I'm probably a bit insane because in the end, I'm talking to my own conscious, if we can agree(or rather I can agree with myself) that I am a being with a conscious.
If only I'd wake up now, I could interpret this dream from a realistic viewpoint, but somehow I'm stuck here...:dizzy2:
