Guilty on that charge. I can actually type it faster than www.google.co.uk now, and with my eyes shut only using my left forefinger.

when you wish for your friends to call you by your ORG account name.
for example ORG mods meet and call each other their ORG name stead of their real name.
Upon seeing that someone's been murdered horribly, you flinch because you know you aren't going to get the chance to post it in the backroom for four or five hours.

No, I'm being serious.
'Gah' is by no means an org conception, it's simply one that we've adopted.

When you check your PM box before your email when you go online.I confess that I do that (actually, I haven't checked my e-mail in at least a month, but I've checked my PM box almost everyday).
You have the Org as your homepage.Yep!
When you get most of your news from the backroomI gave up watching the news when I first gained access to the Backroom - I don't post in there much though - political and news debate is simply exhausting!
You suffer withdrawal symptoms when on vacation.Yes - just being on vacation for the past week. I've missed this place so much - I've also learned that typing after a week away from a keyboard is quite hard.
When you use Gah and LOL in normal everyday conversationI'm highly guilty of doing that....
when you wish for your friends to call you by your ORG account name.I secretly want them to, my real name is pretty ordinary and average, but I don't say anything. However, when I talk to myself, the first sign of madness, I call myself by my Org name.
I'll let you guys come to your conclusions about me....

You couldn't possibly want your friends to do that? I think they'd trip over the name for 5 times before ever pronouncing it correctly. Conversations could go on for ages :p

... you don't understand why people are shocked when you say you've just launched a dozen jihads and will assassinate the Pope next yearROFL!
I "bow" to my kids (also avid TotalWar players) and I often consult the Backroom for hints on big breaking news or totally neglected news items (both are my RL business) and to read views from various members. Also for book tips, game info and whatnot.
In short, I feel a frequent visitor when I don't understand that people are shocked if I praise "total war" as the best concept since chess.

The combination of both is actually the worst: you can't find a decent source so you just decide to let it rest and two days later someone does post about, wiht a decent source :shame:
