(ok this requires some editing but you need to ask those questions on the editing forum)

Many of the units do not appear in the demo, so I do not
know what is their number in the unit.

Originals (the ones that come with icons supplied)

AlanMercenaries

Archers

BedouinCamel

Billmen (not featured in missions)

ByzantineInfantry

CatapultCrew

ChivalricFootKnights

ChivalricKnights

Crossbows

DesertArchers

FeudalFootKinghts

FeudalKnights (not featured in missions)

FeudalManAtArms (not featured in missions)

FeudalSergeants (not featured in missions)

GenoeseSailors

GhulamCavalry

Kataphraktoi

KhwarazmianCavalry

LateRoyalGhulamKnights

LateRoyalKnights

longbows shoot VERY far, although do not cause devastating damage as people thought they would. (not featured in missions)

MamlukCavalry

MuslimPeasants
MuhawidFoot
Peasants
SaracenInfantry
Spearmen
TrebuchetCrew
TurkomanHorse

The units below do not have an icon on the battlefield, only a
coloured square but you can create one by copying some of the existing ones
and renaming it to what the unit is called
Many of these units are not finished and lack some details, sometimes
weapons.

Turcopole simple cav unit

EarlyRoyalKnights nuff said

BeberCamel (mounted archers, same as
Bedouins but with bows)

MamlukHorseArchers

SaracenCavalry

Gendarmes (French Knights, spears are probably missing)

OttomanSipahi (cavs)

SipahiofthePorte (mounted archers on heavy armoured horses)

PronoiaiAllagion (cavs)

ByzantineCavalry (archers)

GothicKnights (look a lot like
Chivalricknights)

Lancers (wow! some long mounted spears )

Mangonel (BIG MACHINE, twice as big as a trebuchet!!)

UrbanMilitia simple foot unit, prolly lack weapons in the sprites)

HighlandClansman (powerful foot unit in slightly disorganised foramtion)

Kern (disorganised formation, throws spears)

ReligiousFanatics (weapons are not featured)

Pikemen (lack pikes, prolly the sprites are not ready, fight moves as if they had them)

MilitiaSergeants

Arbalester

PaviseCrossbows

PaviseArbalester

NapthaThrowers a pain to make them shoot cuz they walk away if fenemy get too close and not as devastating as thunderbombers

MamlukHandgun foot dudes with pistols, fire rather inaccurately from only short distance

I didn't get to the end of the list, there will be probably a few more, but each time you pick a wrong one the game crashes and is very time consuming.

There are lots of units that are not loading due to the lack of sprites, the list is too long. These ones I can actually make missions with.

Actually I found longbows pretty deadly due to both range, firing rate and "kill rate/penetration" compared to other bow types.

Lighter bows can empty out thier quivers at Royal Knights and only kill a couple - let a unit of Longbowmen do that and you will have a lot of dead Royal Knights... especially if you use Welsh Longbowmen.

They have proper stats, Grizz, however you can change weapon and armour upgrades and the number of units is unknown so you will have to improvise.

Dragon, you probable have high amrour/valour/weapon difference between your Royal Knights and longbows. Longbows are definitely better than the rest of the archers, but at the end of the day, they only shoot further with the shots not as powerful that they would cut Knights to bits as some would claim for sake of historical accuracy. BTW, how many of them do you put in one unit, I reckon there will be between 40-60 of them.

I think Darkmoor knows best because he has played the actual full beta version (not the demo).
