Does anybody know what this privincial campaign is about and above all how to play one?
I have read one of the post about it but didnt explain it that much. It says that it is for BI but i dont have BI installed and i get the option though or u need to have BI installed in order to get those campaigns up and running?

You may want to ask this question on the official RTW forums (I think http://www.totalwar.com). We don't do anything with them and our knowledge of how they work is limited at best.

Hrm. I'm unable to fire it up right this moment and double-check to make sure I'm talking about the same thing here, but will do so later and verify. I believe it's a mechanism built in for "mini-campaigns" like the tutorial Sons of Mars campaign with Vanilla. We use the -mod command line switch to load the game which uses it in a different manner.

I haven't looked at the provincial campaign structure in ages, but in theory it would be something you could use to create smaller campaigns that use existing EB units, mechanics, etc. You could likely have a map that just included Greece and western Asia Minor, for example, with five or six factions native to that area. Alternatively you could have the full campaign starting at different time periods with different initial setups drilled down to the regional ownership at the time.

If you install EB on BI according to Oleo's instructions (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1433613&postcount=85), you will get a provincial campaign in your EB menu. AFAIK there is no difference with the normal campaign, other than that it uses normal unit sizes, regardles of the preferences set in the options meny.

i already have it on the menu without intalling the BI but NO campaign is available in the box, just empty so i didnt know if i had to install the BI in order to fill that box with something.
