Installing Historical Battles

I just downloaded and installed the historical battles from the links and downloads section https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/local_links.php?catid=159

But I cannot seem to find these battles when I start up the game. They were installed in the the correct folder (X:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\world\maps)

Any clues? A patch bug?

Hello Gorm,
I've not got the game installed to check if there is another folder missing in the address you quoted. I seem to recall a 'battle' folder.
Do you see the default historical battles?
I will check into this and come back to you

I don't use those, but the historical battles are found in data\world\maps\battle\custom by default
