Judge for yourself:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDNMfpIT7dk&mode=related&search=

It's a Turkish (man) and Greek (woman) duo. He sings in Turkish & she sings in Greek. She's defintely a lot prettier than what you usually see around Athens or maybe I was'nt looking in the right places ! She looks best around 03:40.

Turkish Lyrics:
Aşka yürek gerek anlasana
Her defa yanıyorum ama gitmeliyim
Yaranı sarıp acını dindiremem bak
Bana ben acının ta kendisiyim
Kaç kere kırık hayallerin peşine düştüm ben
Kaç kere bile bile yenik savaşa girdim ben
Korkma çok sürmez
Aşk bu öldürmez
Kimseler duymaz
Yinede ağla istersen çare olmaz

(CHORUS x2)
Aşka yürek gerek anlasana
Her defa yanıyorum ama gitmeliyim
Yaranı sarıp acını dindiremem bak
Bana ben acının ta kendisiyim

Kaç kere kırık hayallerin peşine düştüm ben
Kaç kere bile bile yenik savaşa girdim ben
Korkma çok sürmez
Aşk bu öldürmez
Kimseler duymaz
Yinede ağla istersen çare olmaz
(Repeat CHORUS until end)

ENGLISH translation
Love requires courage, you need to understand this.
Every single time I get burned, but I don't turn back.
I can't wrap up your wound and put an end to your grief.
I am grief itself.
How many times have I fallen in pursuit of broken dreams?
How many times have I knowingly fought a losing battle?
No need to fear, this won't last long.
Love won't kill you.
No one will hear you,
You can cry again if you want, it won't help anything.

(CHORUS x2)

I looked for the Greek lyrics but it was too confusing (link (http://www.allthelyrics.com/forum/258062-post10.html)), the page layout was crap. Basically she's rejecting yet admiring him and letting herself go. This kind of plays on the good old seduction game, plus adds even more "heat" by making it Turko-Greek. I guess it must be frowned on to sleep with a Turk, in Greece.

Hmm, a few-years-old video clip by one of the most famous pop singers in Turkey, Mustafa Sandal. He's the next name after Tarkan being as pop stars in Turkey, however he never was able to achive an international success.

And that lady Natalia was quite popular here after her performance with Mustafa Sandal both audio and visually. As I said it's been a couple of years.

Why bring it out all of a sudden Sinan ? ~:)

Well I only just saw the video. I heard the song before but never paid attention, and I was on youtube because someone sent me a link for another video and I saw a link to this one. Never seen her before.

Here's another, she's waaaay hotter in this one (also an old song I suppose):

Never seen it before either.

Well, concerning greek women, there's also Tamta (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgkG-IXBfaY), like her music as well.

And btw, I have a CD from Mustafa Sandal for some time now, it's a cooperation with a german reggae singer, well, it's this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TW8bMfvhWTA).
And, no, i have no idea what they are singing.:laugh4:

LOL!

Husar I freakin LIEBE that song. I listened to it forever. It has a lot of meaning for me because I discovered it at a very turbulent time in my life. I love it. I don't know how accurate this translation is but I got it off another forum (google search). I don't speak all these languages but good rythm needs no language to be understood. Tamta, nice body, pretty good music.. i like ! She's not really "my type" though. Thanks for the link. Any others always appreciated.

Korkma yaklas, hislerinle
Sanki bir adim attigini bilmez mi gönül?
Gecer mi ömür?

istersen daglar daglar
Yerinden oynar oynar
Sabirsiz kalbim bir tek
Askina isyankar

Don't be afraid, get closer with your feelings
Don't you think that your heart knows that you headed a step?
Would a life pass? (would a life pass like this)

If you want, the mountains
will move will move.
My heart which is endurance
Is uprising for your love

... We have to live upright moving towards the light.... Get ready for a higher learning !

There's one thing I don't understand... and that is: Natalia makes granny jeans look smoldering hot!@#!

This Tamta though, for me, about as sexy as refrigerator magnets.

I like the lyrics posted, too. so thanks for that!

Well, concerning greek women, there's also Tamta, like her music as well.

She is not Greek though. I believe she is Georgian or somewhere around there. She was a contender in one of those "Idol" type competitions and she sang only in English at first because her Greek were accented. But she is a really hard worker. In just a few years she went from singing in English to singing in Greek well enough to be a contender for the 2007 Eurovision song.

@Sinan
The Gonidis song is great. It was a huge hit last summer ;) Are you Greek or just a fan of Greek music? (You don't get many of those outside Greece :P) As for the girl, she is pretty but I've seen many much more prettier than her in Athens. I am pretty sure you were in the wrong places. :P

HEHEH !! One word: plaka ! and what's that beach called ? I forgot the name, one with the real classy looooong bar, and all the yachts. Nice women there though somewhat stuck up ! I remember now Glifada. Also I'd recommend the Scorpion, on the main avenue to Glifada coming from the city for those who want to be in the wrong places. Tall Russian blondes and all ! Went there with a Greek friend, actually he forced me to go there to "toughen" me up. I don't regret it one but though, was amazing. After a whole night of choices I finally got a tall Russian blonde demon who drove me wild. I'm very selective with women so I was surprised I actually found a bad girl who turned me on. BTW it's just a strip joint, with some lapdancing etc. of course you can arrange your own deals with the girls to meet later. My Greek friend's girlfriend (at the time) was a dancer at this joint. Romanian, dark hair, green eyes, tanned skin, gorgeous and petite. She was insane fun, she was truly the life of the party every time we went out. Very beautiful women there, I wish I was different and not so moral etc, sometimes.

I'm originally from Pakistan, I love Greek music, big fan. Also love Turkish, Arabic, Persian music. Are you Greek ?
I remember driving across Rhodes and switching between Turkish and Greek channels on the radio. Such good music, sunshine, ouzo and souvlaki, the sea, the wind. I loved it.

If you have links I'd appreciate it.
BTW do you know where I can find the lyrics (in Roman alphabet so I can read them) + translation to exo petaksi mazi sou.

I love Greece man. I need to go back. Such a great country.

Yes they are, just not in the hotspots. They deal with tourists and their stupid questions every day and somehow manage not to kill them. Been in all these city's and had a terrific time, especially Paris really doesn't deserve it's bad name, fantastic city, great people.
