First off, thnx every1 for the help you've given so far. I've run into one more problem regarding banners, however.

I can't change the banner you see on the campaign map (like during imperial campaign) from the original to mine. The little soldier carried my modified banner, but the button in the lower left hand corner of the "toolbar" still looks egyptian.

Also, I can't change the banner during battle on the button you click to access your general. This button is roughly n the same place as the aforementioned button. Everything else in the battle is showing my custom banner, but this darn button won't change.

Anyone know what I need to do?
Thnx in advance.

Captain banners and interface faction symbols are in the UI folder, the former under captain banners and the latter in the interface folder. You'll need to alter the roman interface if you are using vanilla.

I'm Sure u'll figure it out. I still need to work my character names into the campaign without it crashing terribly. it don't even give me the error message it just freaks out and leaves me with the error report. all in good time i suppose. that's a problem i can work out with tutorials. Can't wait to get a new computer so i can try M2TW. I got some mod ideas for it. I'm suprised ROME is still as popular as it is.

It's to be expected with so many bugs and flaws in M2TW...

You must be very careful with names - both in descr_names.txt and names.txt; and remember that descr_strat.txt (and any historical battle files) must also conform. Best to use a spreadsheet to create them.
