After ending my turn, The Seleukids decided to attack an army I have laying siege to their capital. TWICE, I have totally wiped them out. When it comes to my turn, I am asked to either Occupy, Enslave, etc. As soon as I click one option, CTD.

This must be an eventuality that the programmers never thought of.:wall:

Those scenarios usually work smoothly enough for me, so it's gotta be some rather obscure CTD issue. I've every now and then had a similar issue mind you - don't quite remember how I got around it though.

But shouldn't this be in the bug-report subforum ?

Probably should have been. Oops.

This is the capital. That may have something to do with it.

There are a couple of causes to this bug, that I have seen.
1- Just something that happens some times. I had it happen in vanilla. If this is the case it is not reaccuring.

2- Random and reaccuring, I've seen it in other mods too.

3- Was the last of the Seleucid family member inside the city? If so, there is a chance it is the rebelling city CTD. The temperary fix should get you past it.

Plenty of family members left. Occupant was not even faction leader or heir.

I got around it via auto resolve. My units took a severe beating and suffered extreme losses, but I won both battles and took the city on my turn. There were not a whole lot of defenders left.
