hello Test112345!
1. Cant really answer this, as you cant ever really beat RTW/TW (did you play every faction and win every camp.?)
2. you can look at plenty of mods by going to Forum Jump and going to M2TW modification, RTW modification, MTW modification, STW modification
do you mean does RTW has the best mods? imo everyone has their tastes, I seriously reccomend EB for RTW.
3.the BI expansion is a must get, and you can get more mods, as some are compatible with only BI. (havent tried Alexander)
4.there are many mods for M2TW that are in devolopment. Lands To Conquer by Lusted is certainly one I know of.
hope that helps!

Hullo,
5)how are the sassanids to start with in BI?The Sassanids are not exactly the easiest faction, nor are they the hardest (that title certain belongs to the Western Roman Empire).
The almighty Sassanids start out with debatably the richest lands in the game. They have access to high quality light and heavy cavalry, including a general's bodyguard unit that is exceptionally strong, and strong horse archers, but, in the earlier stages, that is till you have a Huge City and a Royal Barracks, you also have extremely poor infantry compared to your nasty neighbours, the Eastern Roman Empire, who will attack you periodically throughout the entire game if not dealt with early on.
If you are reasonably experienced in the original R:TW, then the Sassanids may be a good faction to start out as. If you still don't consider yourself a good player in R:TW, then it may be best to go along with another faction, for example one of the hordes - The Vandals or the Huns - they have the ability to build up a strong empire early on due to their vast amounts of starting forces.
Hope this helps, cheers!

1) Just my personal preferences:
-There's nothing quite like sticking it to the Empire and 'civilised' world by marching your barbarian armies into Greece or Italy, destroying everything in your way. Germania and the Dacians (with the evil falxmen) are my faves, though any barbarian faction (except the Gauls - they're just lame unfortunately) will do the job.
-On the other hand, if you crave order and power, bring civilisation to others as the Greeks. While phalanxes aren't everyone's cup of tea, the potential for governors to be intelligent and accrue good retinues makes empire management easy. And whenever you find yourself in a sticky situation, cry:
"THIS IS SPARTA!!!!" and unleash your red-robed psycopaths.
