Nah, just keep browsing the Org.:book:
G'luck with those! When you say "paper", do you mean a paper that's due, or an exam, or ?...

thanks.
Here in the UK we call each individual examination a Paper. It refers to the actual piece of Paper on which the certain questions will be asked. For instance, English Paper 1 is the first of a 2 part exam. Paper 1 focuses on the Media and what techniques they use to grab our attention and change our opinion. Paper 2 is poetry from foreign cultures.
And so on. 1 hour to go until my first exam!

Duuuuuude, man I have my first law paper this Friday, we (me and m'mates) started revsing about two weeks ago.
Man, I envy you people who can just cram, cram and cram some more.
Wednesday 6th - Biology 1B, speech, chemistery
Friday 8th - Maths
Thursday 21st - physics
Friday 29th - history, chemistery
Oh boy am I in for some fun.
I probably should start studying for the tests tomorrow...
Good Luck!
I have a Software Design and Development assessment tomorrow and a Chemistry assessment the day after. :juggle2:

Yesterday: French (4 hours) and German (2 hours)
This morning: Maths (3 hours)
This Afternoon: English (2 hours)
Tomorrow: Economics (3 hours)
So far, the only revising I've done is looking over my maths on the bus this morning, and I doubt I'll revise my economics either. Hell, I don't even know what we're supposed to revise. I just can't be arsed. Anyway, these exams count for naught, it's my official exams in August which will decide whether I pass the year or not.

My Law is on Monday. And I was joking, I have been revising - a little. Unfortunatly Law is my weakest subject, which is dumb because its the hardest course (AS level, the rest are GCSEs). I did/am doing the modular course and for Module 1 (last January) I got full marks so hopefully I can ride on my previous score and get an A.
Just got out of the English :sweatdrop:. I think I did reasonably well, probably at least a B paper, I'm hoping it was good enough for an A or even A* though.

What you haven't learned when there's just a couple of hours left, you won't learn anyway. Just use the time to relax and clear your head. Going into an exam with a tired head means disaster.

So true.

I'm hijacking this thread to say that I just found out I passed my first year exams, in the top twenty percent of the cohort. I'm quite chuffed.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get a pint.

Guys, wish me luck because tommorrow, at 9:30 am, I will be going into, not one, but two AS Level Law examinations, having done virtually no revision, and no work the whole year (virtually, I said). I almost have had to learn it all today.
Strangely, it worked last time (module 1 in January, same thing - no work; I was actually on a snowboarding holiday until 2 days before the exam) and I got FULL MARKS!!! How does that work?

But that begs the question; how do people fail?

But that begs the question; how do people fail?
Because, in my experience, they lack:
a) Confidence
b) Common sense
c) Or they stress under pressure
I have to read "The long sunset of the walker" for tomorrow and I didnt read a single line.

:laugh4: That is funny because you can still easily pass! My law teacher got her degree in law only having read 2 of the the 20 books required. People around her were saying before her exams "oh dear, I haven't read part of one book I might fail" and she was like; "I haven't read 18 of them, what does that mean for me?" Apparently she made everything up about the books in an oral test and still passed. In a Law degree! :beam: :smash:

Yes, me and 1,000 other people are going to fail our tests just so the economics guys can have a neat diagram to express it.

GCSEs are so easy it makes me laugh, then I remember the people who failed them and quickly stop laughing and suddenly think "these people are the future of Britain?"
