Hi! Has the EB team considered putting them in the game? As far as i know they were one of the few Celtic states, not just tribes, they would be an excelent barier for the Sweboz and Rome, their steel was one of the best in ancient Europe so....

Undoubtedly the EB team had considered them. However there is a maximum number of factions (20), which is hardcoded. Putting the Kingdom of Noricum in, means removing another faction.

Problem is that the R:TW engine only allows 21 factions (including rebels) and EB is already at the limit. Including Noricum would mean sacrificing another faction, and as far as I know Noricum never was a big player, except during the Helveti migration.

I believe they are reconsidered as a possible faction for our work on EB2, but of course we're not going to say anything beyond that. :grin:
