Why the wait?

Excuse me for asking, you may think I'm stupid, but why do we have to wait for the game to come out 3-4 months after the demo is realesed? Usually the game comes out about 5 weeks after the demo is realesed. I think.

The game isn't finished yet, and don't be surprised if they miss the tentative August 23rd release date.

actually, it would only be 2 months if the release date is aug 23rd as stated in the demo. also remember that all you're seeing in the demo is the tactical side and nothing of the campaign side.

the dev guys also mentioned a while back that this would happen for various reasons, mostly for additional tests, bug fixes and so on, so it's not really a surprise.

and personally id prefer to wait for a good copy then get a buggy messed up version early.

I'm impatient and bored. The only thing I have to do this summer is wait for MTW news, (personally theres not enough), and wait for the game itself, which by the time I get it I'll be in school. So this summer is craptacula for me.

being as bored as you are, i fully expect you to dive into the files and start modding. i expect at least several good hisotorical battles out of you before the game is released and the summer over ;)

To add to my horrible summer I can't download the demo cause I have just a phoneline connecting me to the internet so that means I can't get the demo until it comes out on the shelves in the usa. Which will be in a month in a half.
