View Full Version : Road & Logistic
Is it ever occur to any of you whenever an enemy army are surrounding you in the field from all direction (which pratically denying all movement) without even engaged in battle (just a stand-off) then your units will likely to lose some numbers of men in the next turn. In my case the lose of personel were equal to 2 turn siege.:wall:
Is there any relation between road access and logistic or is this ever happen to any of you??:dizzy2:

Hi varuna,
I've never experienced this with R:TW 1.5 Gold Edition. May I ask if you are using an older version of R:TW (1.3, 1.2, 1.1 or 1.0). You can check this by observing the number in the top left hand corner of the Options menu screen. Perhaps it was a bug contained within older versions?

cut off of supply?perhaps?:inquisitive:
I'm playing vanilla RTW 1.5 although I'm not sure this is a bug since it's quite logical for my army (full roman legion) to cut off from supply lines, but I'm not clear whether or not this is a RTW feature or just another bug.
Unfortunately it is almost impossible to run a test on this scenario again, since this is the first time the enemy army doesn't commit battle despite their upper hand position (completely surrounded me)

Unfortunately, it must be a nasty one of the numerous R:TW bugs - R:TW, sadly, doesn't, to my knowledge, feature supply lines or desertions (desertions only occur after a huge defeat in which the general, if there was one, has suffered death and only a small number of men are remaining alive. In this case though, the whole army vanishes rather than just a proportion).
Just a bug probably... maybe it's worth mentioning in the bugs thread.
Could there have been a weather event or something?
Plague maybe? :scared:
