Just reading through the July Edition of PC Format and a preview on medieval total war the creative director on Medieval a certain Michael de Platter admits that they have ignored onlien community Quote " It's a rallying call for the mulitplayer community who will enjoy new features in wars accross over 400 maps, with a variety of game modes and configurable elements such as weather conditions and tiem peroids. The decision to release the games battle map editor is seen as an overdue tribute to this loyal following as de Platter explains: The Shogun community has been fanatastic without too much help from us, but with easiar online play more game types balanced units and the ability to make there own maps the communtiy is a supportes alot better in medieval.
Hmmmm I have my doubts that medieval will prove better supported hpe I'm wrong though

i read it as well, and u might be right.
sadly it works like this
that u only get things done for the online people if u shout/cry/flame unit, send emails and whatsover
its sad but true, so lets sharpen our swords and try to unite...

Rather emotive...are you a budding journalist by any chance?
How did you deduce this? Doesn't the fact that he says "..an overdue tribute to this loyal following.." actually suggest that he HAS listened to the "onlien" community!!?
IMHO, he seems apologetic that things hadn't been perfect for the community but never does he suggest that he was never listening.
Cheers
