I wnder why you guys are not posting anything lately, probably playing the Medieval demo! Can't blame ya! But my demo has "periodic" slowdowns that seem to happen at any given time of battle. I hope the final version irons all the bugs out. Just for the sake of asking, how old are you guys? Please don't take this as an insult, I just want to know who I'm dealing with here.

My MTW hang after battle of jaffa finished. Once I click on [ok][save game], the screen freezes.

Sorry about the age topic guys! I didn't mean it as an insult. Anyways, my screen freezes after the Battle of Jaffa as well. They should do something about the "shrinking" mosques. Other than that the demo was very well done. I'de like to see how Activision does the cannons! They may be done similarly to the arquebuses and muskets of STW. Once again, I ment nothing with the age question, just wanted to see if you all my age!

Incidentally, on your periodic 'lags' in the demo: have you turned off your antivirus software while playing? My Norton 2002 interfered a bit...turned it off, and runs smooth a silk since. Just an idea.

Oh...and: I'm old. Really old. Shook-hands-with-Robert Kennedy-old.

I am also a looking forward to seeing us irish in the game i was hoping that kern and gallowglasses would be there and... they are.

For those who think the demo is freezing after the Jaffa battle, how long do you leave it?

I played one or 2 custom battles using the Jaffa historic battle area and there has been a signifcant pause at the end of the battle. At first I thought it had crashed but left it for about 15-20 seconds(maybe longer) and it came good.

I experience lag too after Jaffa, I'll have to try that Norton Anti-Virus. I wasn't welcomed into the forum at first either, Hunky-pex. Try starting a new topic like I did.

Seamus, I also look forward to the Turks and of course their loving neighbors the Byzantines. It is to my understanding that Constantinople is a province in the game, I wonder if you can actually besiege the city itself if the army within the province retreat to it.

I may have said this before, but I look forward to the Byzantines (and their mercenary lapdogs) or the early Turks (the earlier Seljuk Turks are going to be the closest thing to playing as the mongols, having been migrated from the Eastern Steppe).
