Sorry if this is the wrong place to whine about bugs, but...

I am playing Scipii, I have Spain, Numidian and Carthage areas and am now waging war with Egypt, which totals 20 regions. Two turns back the Brutii cancelled the alliance with me, still can't attack them though, and now every time I try to finish the turn the game crashes. Nothing helps, rebooting, re-installing, even formatting as I had the same problem a few months ago as I was playing Brutii and the civil war had just broken out, same problem, crashed every time I tried to finish. So what could be the problem?
It's frustrating to spend so much time on the game and just as it's getting interesting (fighting other Romans who have huge armies) and then have everything lock up grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

:help:

I'm afraid that campaign is now lost, if you have a savegame from before the breakup you can use it and try doing something different to preserve the peace. otherwise it is back to the drawing board. you need to get the chance for power message before the game will allow you to fight the other romans properly, and once the senate has gone haywire you won't get that message.
