According to our sources, the throne room from the original Shogun: Total War will be back and more lavish than ever! This is just a random topic about what will be incorporated into the "better" throne room.

Well, I e-mailed Richie Skinner, the Web Master, and he told me the throne room will be back and better than ever. And also it's essentia to the RPG-like build-up of yourself. He mentioned that that every faction will have their own customs in the room (yes Stephen, maybe even belly dancers for the Arabs). Not to sure about the nude dancers though, because ya won't be able to be the Golden Horde.

It gets even better and better. I shall be in the army at that time so l won't have the chance to really play the game until summer 2004 but hell l shall be playing a much more realistic version of Operation Flashpoint http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

I really don't think so.
I am sure that for the third game they shall also focus on the technological state of the game like making a brand-new engine.

There is no throne room atm, nor do i believe there will be one - will check to make sure though (but there doesnt seem to be any point in it tbh).
