No explanation needed I hope.
Although I left these groups out of the best flat out rockers there is no denying that is just what they are and I felt deserving of their own thread.
Some contenders
Motley Crue - Smokin' in the Boys Room (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzD1dsxj-SU)
Bon Jovi - You give love a bad name live (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyGZFWrVKb8)
Van Halen - Panama (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5g2yyvdjrE)
Poison - Unskinny Bop (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6N6q302UXrE)
Def Leppard - Bringin' On The Heartbreak (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1-j9hEPenM)
What a show this would make .

Def Leppard....my favorite '80s songs being 'Have you ever needed someone so bad?' and 'Animal'
Bon Jovi...'It's my life' is still a good song no matter how mahy times i listen to it.
Being the last of the '80s generation (born in '89) i try and uphold what my parent decade was about...big hair, big guitar solos and big mobile phones
Best hair band?
Well, my woman's got this cute pink one. I like it.

And here, I thought this was a topic about hairbands.

:laugh4: I'm not kidding. The "hair metal" reference went right over my head.
Hell, if you made a reference to "best grunge", I would probably think it was a topic about the greatest grudges of all time.

He he I knew there was something wrong when I posted that I meant Kid Rock :laugh4:
Are we judging based on the quality of the music, or the vastness of their hair?

I had to listen to Round and Round so many times in the clubs that I still can't get it out of my head when someone says "Metal Hair Band," GAH!! I would have to say Ratt:

Dokken:

And Crue:

Crue is looking a bit too Kiss-like for my tastes in this one.
