you can preorder MTW on EB Games.com, and it ships out September 1. EB gets the game in it's stores September 2 (in Ohio).

There was a 5 month gap between the Shogun demo and the final release. With many more units and a more complex strategic game it seems to me like Medieval could easily be delayed until winter (or summer for our Southern friends).

MI was supposed to come out in June. But I didn't get it till Augest 14. Hopefully MTW comes out when it's supposed too.

Well for anyone that didn't follow the release of Shogun l must say that the developers delayed the game for some time.
I don't mind as long as the time they take makes the game better.

I agree, like the mount-dismount option they have taken the time to ad (Darkmoor info).

Havn't seen/found any info on exactly how this is implemented. Did Darkmoor post somewhere with the info?

Don't worry Kuma I found it eventually and posted in new topic so everyone can see it.

For the record I would prefer to have patches released after the release with new features, rather than delaying the game.

Anyone want to wait another six months for MTW?

Some features that people want may become less of an issue when they have actually played the full game, and some lesser issues may become very important.

I think one of the reasons for implementing new features and delaying release is because once the game is out in public domain, bugs will no doubt show up and become the focus, limiting the opportunity for developers to put new ideas in the first patch etc..
