Hi, how would I go about making eb into a non mod folder instalation.
Thanks
Copy all the files from the EB folder into the RTW folder, I think. As for why you'd want to do that... :inquisitive:

That dosen't work though it gives this: "Error: data/animations/engine/ballista/ballista_idle.CAS"
As for why I would want to, I do not want to play vannila, nor any other mods, however I do want to play lots of differnet eb mods, so it would save space if I could do mod folders for them, as they only change a few files, rather than multiple copies of eb, diifering only by a few files...
Aha, that's a good reason :beam:. I also think a number of files are referenced using eb/ as prefix, remnants from 0.74 I suppose, which would put them off when you move them. You could search the entire subfolder for the string.
Oh you are such fools. Do a search through all text files in the eb mod folder for the following "eb/", for each entry delete it "eb/" but nothing more. It should work when you copy the files into the vanilla data folder.

:inquisitive: How is that any different from what I said?

cos they are not remnants of 0.74. Also, I didn't really understand your post, although I do now. But its very important you only delete the "eb/" part and nothing else.

Thanks both of you, I've got it working now, but it is presenting its own ammusing little problems - specifalcy all of the agent portraits and many of the building cards and large pictures have reverted to vannila, (mixed in with ed), how doI scrub these?

Nothing you can do unless you want to learn how to pack files into a .pak file (you'll need to use verci's program for that - xpak). Do a search for it on the RTW modding forums and you'll be able to figure it out.

So what would be to happen if I was to just delete the entire packs folder?
EDIT: never mind that dosen't work.
EDIT: Ok, I unpacked the files and copied the relevant files contained in the packs from eb/data but it dosen't seem to have made much difference. Anyone got any idea why?

You have to repack the files for it to work.
