View Full Version : Casse crossing the Channel
Couldn't there be some way to encourage the Casse AI to cross over, they never seem to build any fleets, perhaps adding an already build shipwright to the rebel city next to them (as they don't seem to be able to build shipwrights in Camulosadae). The pirates are also very strong in the north waters and clearly discourage them.
Or make sure the 2 Belgae settlements rebel to them if they rebel that is, and/or make the Belgae more prone to rebellions. They just seem to be kept out of the action.

If using Barbarian Invasion, you can add content to descr_win_conditions.txt that will influence the AI to conquer specific provinces. It's possible that this could be used to encourage the Casse to cross the Channel. Experiments are going on in this thread (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=86313). I intend to try it myself after I complete my current campaign.
All does pirate fleets will give them a hard time crossing tough. I recommed a land bridge, or possibly, the destruction of the casse faction altogether :( It's fun playing as them, but as a AI faction, they are kinda useless. Unless ofc there would be a land bridge :)
A land-bridge would be too much, but perhaps some script to spawn a small Casse fleet every 5 years or so after the first 30-40 years in which they would hopefully have conquered the Britain and Ireland.
@Underhand Yeah I've been using that descr_win_conditions file for a while, but no fleets no crossing that's the problem.
